2006 Duckhorn, Migration, Anderson Valley, Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes:

This wine is textured with an integrated oak component and
features a dense palate. There is a hint of pennyroyal mint
(native to our area) in both the nose and mouth. The aroma is full
of red fruitstrawberry, raspberry, and bing cherrycomplemented
by a floral note and a touch of oak. In the mouth sweet spices
aboundcinnamon in particularalong with dense plum, and notes of
cola and vanilla all followed by an edge of earthiness, mushroom,
and forest floor in the finish.

September 2009 - 90 points
Soft, silky and complex Pinot Noir, dry and balanced, with blackberry, cherry, cola, nutmeg
and cedar flavors. Very deft, and fine to drink now.
